On the weekend 6th and 7th June 2015 companies Veteránská krása ltd. and association Chateau Loučeň Concours d´Elegance arranged, with support of Czech national technical museum, the third annual unique competition of ellegance of veteran cars on Loučeň castle. According to the respons of the participants, official partners of event, journalists and even visitors themselves this was the most successfull year yet. Large collection of historic cars and other exhibits commemorated 120 years elapsed from the establishment of a car manufacturing company Laurin & Klement/ŠKODA AUTO.
This event provided an unique opportunity to see a number of veteran cars, for example cars of Avions Voisin, Bugatti, Delage, Duesenberg, Farman, Hispano Suiza, Isotta Fraschini or Mercedes Benz. Most of these cars have never been exposed in Czech republic before. Of course there were also presented other famous and amazing car brands appertaining to the golden era of motorism as Tatra, Walter, Czechoslovak army factory in Brno, Wolseley and Hurt. Extremely interesting was the largest conjoint presentation of cars of Prostějov brand WIKOV ever.
From the sort of sport cars of the postwar years there were presented really precious Ferraris and other cars belonging to iconic brands like Alvis, Arnolt Bristol, Aston Martin, Facel Vega, Lancia, Jaguar, Nash-Healey, Morgan and Talbot Lago. Visitors had the opportunity to listen to thematic lectures focused on car history and all the weekend was accompanied by illustrations of contemporary fashion.
Throughout all the weekend, visitors (their number was estimated by almost 2,000) walked in a beautiful castle with his large garden and enjoyed listening to contemporary music played by a big orchestras.
Prince Erich Thurn-Taxis was one of the owners of the Loučeň castle till 1945. He was a shareholder and since 1907 also the first Chairman of the Board of Laurin & Klement stock company (nowadays Škoda Auto).
Laurin & Klement was established in 1895. Therefore just this year we can celebrate 120th anniversary of this company manufacturing Škoda cars till today.
Come back with us to the elegant era of the First republic, when only few cars calmly cruised the roads. Though they were only few, one was more beautiful than the other. On this world class exhibition you will have an unique opportunity to see the most valuable veteran cars of the world´s most famous brands. To provide you a perfect contemporary atmosphere of the interwar era, all the weekend will be accompanied by swing music interpreted by the finest music groups in Czech republic.

Ferrari Classiche will lend historic car from his depositary again. We plan to borrow Formule 1 which was driven by famous driver Michael Schumacher. Last year, Ferrari Classiche presented 125 S, which was historically the first Ferrari car from 1947.
